Merits of City Life

City life has many pros. In a city, houses are built in a planned way. It has wide roads. Every city has electricity. All sorts of shops are there. Anything can be bought or sold easily. All sorts of transport facilities are there. A city has good hospitals. It also has a number of schools and colleges where one can get a good education. There are courts. Good doctors live in a city. In a city, water is supplied regularly. Every city has paks for walking. Poor people support themselves by doing some business or various menial jobs. Even a hawker earns enough. There are public libraries where one can read books and magazines without spending a paisa. There is a sufficient number of policemen to ensure law and order.

शहरी जीवन के अनेक लाभ हैं। शहरों में घर, सुनियोजित ढंग से बने होते हैं। यहाँ चौड़ी सड़कें होती हैं। हर शहर में बिजली होती है। यहाँ हर प्रकार की दुकानें होती हैं। कोई भी वस्तु आसानी से खरीदी और बेची जा सकती है। यहाँ यातायात के सभी साधन मौजूद रहते हैं। शहर में अच्छे अस्पताल होते हैं। अनेक स्कूल और कॉलेज भी होते हैं, जहाँ अच्छी शिक्षा ग्रहण की जा सकती है। यहाँ कचहरियाँ होती हैं। अच्छे डॉक्टर शहर में ही रहते हैं । शहर में नियमित रूप से जलापूर्ति होती है। हर शहर में टहलने के लिए पार्क होते हैं। गरीब लोग किसी न किसी तरह का रोजगार कर अपना जीवन-यापन करते हैं। यहाँ तक कि एक फेरीवाला भी काफी कमा लेता है। शहर में सार्वजनिक पुस्तकालय होते हैं जहाँ बिना कुछ खर्च किये व्यक्ति पुस्तक अथवा पत्रिकाएँ पढ़ सकता है। कानून-व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित कराने के लिए काफी संख्या में पुलिस रहती है।
