Global Warming

Global warming is an international issue. It happens when the temperature of the earth shoots up to a higher degree. The major reason for this is greenhouse gases, like, methane, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide etc. A very good example to explain the greenhouse effect is a car being parked in an area on a sunny day. After some time, when you try to get into the car you could feel the amount of heat inside the car. It is because the sun rays affect the car. The rays that affect the car enter inside but find no way to get back from inside. Likewise, the sun rays raise the temperature of the earth because the earth has very little power to re-emit them. Global warming is a danger that is growing proportionally to human progress but working against it.

ग्लोबल वार्मिग एक अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय मसला है। यह तब होता है, जब पृथ्वी का तापमान उच्चतर स्तर पर पहुँच जाता है। इसका मुख्य कारण ग्रीन हाउस गैसें, जैसे- मीथेन, कार्बन-डाई-आक्साइड, नाइट्रस ऑक्साइड इत्यादि हैं। ग्रीन हाउस प्रभाव को समझने को सबसे अच्छा उदाहरण है एक कार जिसे धूप में खड़ी कर दिया जाये। कुछ देर बाद, जब आप कार में प्रवेश करने का प्रयास करते हैं तो आप कार के भीतर की गर्मी की मात्रा को महसूस कर सकते हैं। क्योंकि सूर्य की किरणें कार को प्रभावित करती हैं। जो किरणें कार को प्रभावित करती हैं वे कार के भीतर तो। प्रवेश कर जाती हैं लेकिन अन्दर से बाहर आने का कोई रास्ता नहीं पाती हैं। इसी तरह से सूर्य की किरणें पृथ्वी की तापमान इसलिए बढ़ा देती हैं क्योंकि पृथ्वी में उनको निष्कासित करने की इतनी शक्ति नहीं होती है। ग्लोबल वार्मिग एक खतरा है जो, मानवीय प्रगति के अनुरूप ही बढ़ रहा है लेकिन इसके खिलाफ काम कर रही है।
