Write a note on Angkor Vat temple. |

Answer» Angkor Vat temple is a famous temple of lord Vishnu situated at Cambodia (Kambuj). The pillars in the centre and top corners of temple are of North-Indian style. This temple is very much like Indian temples. A moat o50 feet wide and 36 feet deep made up of stone is around the boundary of the temple. The ditch is around temple which is 2 miles in length and there is 1560 feet long and 7 feet wide road to first corridor at west gate. The central top of last floor is at 210 feet height. Angkor Vat temple’s architecture is famous in the world. |
