Answer» The Versailles treaty was a harsh and humiliating treaty on Germany because :-\xa01) Germany lost it\'s overseas territories , a tenth of its population & 13% of it\'s territories.\xa02) It had to pay 75% of it\'s iron & 26% of it\'s coal to France , Poland , Denmark & Lithuania.3) The Allied power demilitarised Germany to weaken it\'s powers.4) The War Guilt Clause held Germany responsible for the damages of the allied countries.5) Germany had to pay compensation of Euro 6 Billion and also had to lose it\'s resource rich Rhineland to the Allied powers.
