Answer» Fasting is a pain which the person imposes on himself. It is the most powerful weapon of Satyagrah. Gandhi coined it as ‘spiritual medicine’ which can be exercised only by an expert physician. This treatment is useful in particular illness. Its experimentation on wrong place may be risky. Thus, fasting is the best moral appeal in favorable circumstances only. |
