Since 1984 Uber Cup and Thomas cup are held together. (ii) Uber Cup : Uber Cup or Women’s World Team Championships was added for the first time in 1956-57. Uber Cup is named after Mrs. H.S. Uber from England. The Uber Cup was played every three years in the start. Since 1984 the tournament has been held every two years with the format of three singles and two doubles.
