Our National Emblem has three lions standing back to back. The lions are standing on a platform which has the Ashoka Chakro in the centre, a horse on the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/left-1070879" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about LEFT">LEFT</a> and a bull on the right. Underneath the emblem the words “Satyameva Jayate” are written in <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/devnagri-2055740" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DEVNAGRI">DEVNAGRI</a> script. The words mean: Truth alone <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/triumphs-1427846" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about TRIUMPHS">TRIUMPHS</a>. This emblem can be seen on the coins, currency notes, postage stamps, govern­ment documents and publications. Our National Emblem has been taken from the Ashoka’s Lion Pillar at Sarnath. The pillar has four lions standing back to back, but only three can be seen from any angle. Our National Emblem was adopted on 26th January 1950.</p></body></html>
