Celebrations on Diwali

Diwali is the festival which is full of lights and full of events. On the day of Diwali, it is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour. I, too, celebrated Diwali with much rejoicings. In the evening, my all the friends came to my house. There was a park in front of my house: We, all the friends went there. We carried crackers and sweets with us. First of all, we fired ‘sutali-bombs’. These produced ear-tearing noise. Then, we fired rockets. These seemed to touch the blue-sky. Then, we fired other crackers. The special item was the ‘rail’. One long thread was put into it. It moved upon it. Then, we enjoyed sweets. So, Diwali remained an eventful festival.

दीवाली पर्वोत्सव मनाना

दीवाली वह पर्व है जो रोशनी से भरपूर व घटनाओं से भरपूर रहता है। दीवाली वाले दिन, इसे अत्यधिक जोश व धर्मोत्साह से मनाया जाता है। मैंने भी दीवाली को अत्यधिक आनन्द से मनाया। शाम को, |मेरे सभी मित्र मेरे घर आये। मेरे घर के सामने एक पार्क था। हम सभी मित्र वहां गये। हम वहाँ पटाखे व मिठाइयाँ ले गये। सर्वप्रथम, हमने ‘सूतली बम’ चलाए। इन्होंने कान-फाड़ आवाज की। फिर, हमने राकेट चलाए। ये नीले आकाश को छूते-से प्रतीत हुए। फिर हमने अन्य पटाखे चलाए। विशेष आइटम ‘रेल’ थी। इसमें एक लम्बे धागे को डाला गया। यह इस पर चली। फिर, हमने मिठाइयों का आनन्द लिया। अतः दीवाली एक गतिविधिपूर्ण पर्व रहा।
