A Picnic

Change is life and a picnic is a good change. Last Sunday we decided to go to the canal. The weather was cool. The sky was covered with dark clouds. We went to market and purchased some sweets, namkin and fruits. We took a small gas cylinder, some utensils, tea leaves, sugar etc. with us. At about 10 a,m, we went to the canal by bus. We were in happy mood. On the way some friends were talking and singing. We reached the canal. There was a Varandah near the canal. We cleaned it. After some time we bathed in the canal. At this time rain started. Raju and Ravi swam in the canal. Then we prepared tea. We enjoyed the sweets, namkin, fruits and hot tea. After it we sang songs and told stories. At 6 p.m. we came back to our town happily. We were tired but happy.

एक पिकनिक

परिवर्तन जीवन है और पिकनिक एक अच्छा परिवर्तन है। पिछले रविवार को हमने नहर पर जाने का निश्चय किया। मौसम ठण्डा था। आसमान गहरे बादलों से ढका हुआ था। हम बाजार गये और मिठाइयाँ, नमकीन और फल खरीदे। हमने एक छोटा गैस सिलेण्डर, कुछ बर्तन, चाय पत्ती, शक्कर हमारे साथ ली। लगभग सुबह 10 बजे हम बस से नहर पर गये। हम खुशी के मूड में थे। रास्ते में कुछ मित्र बातें कर रहे थे। एवं गा रहे थे। हम नहर पर पहुँचे । नहर के पास एक बरामदा था। हमने इसे साफ किया। कुछ देर बाद हमने नहर में स्नान किया। इस समय वर्षा प्रारंभ हो गई । राजू और रवि नहर में तैरे। फिर हमने चाय तैयार की। हमने मिठाइयाँ, नमकीन, फलों एवं गरम चाय का आनन्द लिया। इसके बाद हमने गाने गाये और कहानियाँ कहीं। लगभग सायं 6 बजे हम प्रसन्नतापूर्वक वापस लौट आये। हम थके हुए किन्तु खुश थे।
