The Independence Day Function

The Independence Day is a very important day in the history of India. She got freedom on this day. We reached the school at 7 a.m. The Principal of our school unfurled the national flag. It was waving in air. We have proud of it. All sang the national anthem. Some students recited poems. Some other delivered speeches. Some teachers also delivered speeches. There were cultural programmes of dance and drama. The viewers enjoyed these much. In the end, the Principal delivered a speech. He told us about the duties of the students. He remembered Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Nehru and Indira Gandhi. Then, sweets were distributed. We were very happy.

स्वतन्त्रता दिवस उत्सव

भारत के इतिहास में स्वतन्त्रता दिवस अत्यन्त महत्त्वपूर्ण है। इस दिन यह आजाद हुआ था। हम प्रातः सात बजे स्कूल पहुँचे। स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल ने झण्डारोहण किया। यह हवा में लहरा रहा था। हमें गर्व हुआ। सबने राष्ट्रीय गान गाया। कुछ विद्यार्थियों ने कविता पाठ किया। कुछ विद्यार्थियों ने भाषण दिए। कुछ अध्यापकों ने भी भाषण दिए। वहाँ नृत्य एवं नाट्य के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम भी हुए। दर्शकों ने इनका खूब आनन्द उठाया। अन्त में प्रधानाचार्य ने भाषण दिया। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों के कर्तव्यों के विषय में बतलाया। उन्होंने महात्मा गाँधी, पंडित नेहरू तथा इन्दिरा गाँधी के विषय में बताया। तत्पश्चात्, मिठाइयों का वितरण किया गया। हम सब अति प्रसन्न थे।
