A Bus Fell into a River

Last Sunday I went for a picnic with my friends. While I was returning home, I saw a bus fell into a river. There was a narrow bridge over the river. A bus was coming fast. It was full of passengers. The driver lost the balance and the bus fell into the river. Some passengers were drowned in the river. All were crying for help them. Many villagers gathered there. They threw ropes into the river and pulled out the drowning passengers. Some boatmen also helped. We informed the police. After sometime some policemen, doctors and nurses came there. They gave first-aid to the injured passengers. Seriously injured persons were taken to hospital in the ambulance. The police arrested the bus driver. I cannot forget this bus accident in my life.

एक बस नदी में गिर गई

गत रविवार को मैं अपने मित्रों के साथ पिकनिक पर गया। जब मैं घर लौट रहा था तो मैंने देखा कि एक बस नदी में गिर गई। नदी के ऊपर एक संकरा पुल था। एक बस तेजी से आ रही थी । यह यात्रियों से भरी हुई थी। बस-चालक ने सन्तुलन खो दिया और बस नदी में गिर गई। कुछ यात्री डूब गये। सभी सहायता के लिए चिल्ला रहे थे। वहाँ अनेक ग्रामीण एकत्र हो गये। उन्होंने नदी में रस्सियाँ फेंकीं और डूबते हुए यात्रियों को खींच कर बाहर निकाला। कुछ नाविकों ने भी उनकी सहायता की। हमने पुलिस को सूचित किया। थोड़े समय के पश्चात् कुछ पुलिसमैन, डॉक्टर और नर्से वहाँ पर आई। उन्होंने घायलों का प्राथमिक उपचार किया । गम्भीर घायल व्यक्तियों को रोगी-वाहन द्वारा अस्पताल ले जाया गया। पुलिस ने बस-चालक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। मैं इस बस-दुर्घटना को अपने जीवन में कभी नहीं भूल सकता।
