Answer» Answer: Usually There are 4 types of pollution:- Soil Pollution Water Pollution Air Pollution Noise Pollution A pollutant is a physical agent which is found more than normal levels, changes in the physical, chemical or biological characteristics of the resources that environment is supplying. Air Pollution: The excessive concentration of contaminated substances in the air which adversely affects the well-being of the INDIVIDUALS, LIVING organisms and property of all forms. Water Pollution: The addition of some substance or factor present in water which degrades its quality, so that it becomes health hazard or unfit for use. Soil Pollution: Unfavourable alteration of soil quality by disturbing the natural composition which decreases soil productivity Noise Pollution: Any noise generated above 125 decibals and produces harmful EFFECTS in the environment and CAUSES helath hazards to HUMAN being.
