The Mensheviks, led by Julius MARTOV, was split after the October Revolution, with some factions leaning left in support of the Bolsheviks, and others supported anti-Bolshevik political action. Menshevism was MADE illegal in 1921, and Mensheviks were targeted by Stalin in the beginning of the 1931 Great Purge. |
