I had lied a few years back just to make my mother happy.My mother had worked hard for a few hours to make my favourite food. She had never MADE it before but she still worked very hard so that I could eat my favourite food. When she served it to me, it was the total opposite of the dish I had expected, it was nothing like my favourite dish.My mother was exhausted and ASKED how the dish tasted, I THOUGHT if I told the truth it would hurt her and she would THINK all her hardwork was for nothing. So I lied and told her it was amazing and tasted exactly as the dish I expected. She thought it tasted very good because I said so, so she noted the recipe she had used to make the dish on a piece of paper. She was exhausted and after writing the recipe, she went straight to sleep. When she was sleeping, I looked up a video of the recipe and secretly corrected the recipe my mother noted. From that day onwards, she made the dish using the corrected recipe without actually knowing it.P S. : This is a true incident and my MUM actually doesnt know about it till today.
