Experiments involves the synthesis of biomolecules from the environmental gases under reducing atmosphere starting molecules were H₂O, NH₃, CH₄ and H₂. Thus chemical evolution involves two steps: (i) Synthesis and accumulation of small organic molecules or monomers such as amino acids & nucleotides. (ii) Joining of these monomers into the polymers and concentration of these molecules into droplets called as protobionts a simplest form of life.
