Answer» Sterilization is the process where food item is heated to very high temperature for a short duration. Food is heated at 72° C for 15 seconds or 138° C for 2-3 seconds in the sterilization process. How sterilization process helps Rampal: Due to sterilization the harmful bacteria which lead to spoilage of the milk, got killed. This resulted in storage the milk for a longer duration. As the duration was increased the problem of spoilage of milk during the transportation got resolved. |
