Write in brief how disease spreads.

Infectious disease are caused by micro organisms and may be classified according to their transmissibility. A disease that spreads from one host to another is called as communicable disease.

Spread of disease takes place in two ways by

(i) Direct transmission: Occurs from one person to another person by such things such as touching, Kissing and sexual intercourse.

(ii) Indirect transmission: Occurs when a nonliving object is intermediator between two humans.
