Mrs Bompas is a young romantic wife while her husband is a serious businessman. She is highly emotinal and falls in love with a young poet, a friend of her husband. Mr Henry, the young poet writes some love poems for her. Unfortunately the poems fall into her husband’s hands. Aurora is the first to feel the sting of reality. Now her husband’s anger, her disgrace in the family puzzels her day and night. She turns out to be a coward.She pleads to her lover to lie to her husband and save her from humiliation and disgrace. The young poet speaks the truth to her husband. Now she comes out as a loyal wife to her husband.

श्रीमती बोम्पास एक युवा रोमांचकारी पत्नी है। वह बहुत ही भावुक है और एक युवा कवि से प्रेम करने लगती है जो उसके पति का मित्र है। युवा कवि श्रीमान हैनरी उसके लिये कुछ प्रेम कवितायें लिखता है दुर्भाग्यवश कवितायें उसके पति के हाथ लग जाती हैं। सर्व प्रथम औरोरा वास्तविकता का एक महसूस करती है। अब रात दिन उसके पति का क्रोध और परिवार में उसकी बदनामी उसको परेशान कर रही है। वह अब डरपोक बन जाती है। वह अपने प्रेमी से मिन्नत करती है कि वह उसके पति से झूठ बोले तथा उसे अपमान और बदनामी से बचा ले। वह उसके पति से सच बोलता है। अब वह अपने पति की वफादार पत्नी के रूप में उभर कर आती है।
