This is OBTAINED during volcanic eruption.☘Also known as Lava soil.☘As per the name, black soil is black in colour and is most abundantly found in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and in some southern parts of India, including the Godavari and near to the Krishna valleys.☘It is wet and can contain potash, iron etc minerals, thus it is suitable for production of Cotton. This soil is also known as Cotton soil.☘The major SOURCE of Black soil is Deccan trap in the Deccan Plateau whereas weathering of igneous rocks takes place majorly.☘It is also known as Regur soil because it contains a lot of iron which we get from lava materials.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ |
