Answer» ong>Answer: ALAUDDIN Khilji had been the Khilji dynasty’s most powerful ruler. He was the first Delhi sultan to conquer SOUTHERN India. Malik Kafur was Alauddin Khilji’s Commander who attacked South India. Around 1309 and 1313 Malik Kafur defeated the Devagiri Yadavas, the Warangal Kakatiyas, the DWARASAMUDRA Hoyasalas and the Madurai Pandyas. About Allauddin khilji In A.D.1296 Ala-ud – din Khilji succeeded FIROZ Khilji in Jalal-ud-din and occupied the throne. The GENERALS of Ala-ud-din Khiliji, namely Ulugh Khan and Nusrat Khan captured Gujarat. Ranthambore was captured, and its ruler killed Hamir Deva. He grabbed Malwa, Chittor, Dhar, Mandu, Ujjain, Marwar, Chanderi, Jalor and others. He was the first Sultan to conquer South India. |
