Microwave cooking is of recent origin, where foods is quickly cooked by electromagnetic waves. It can be used to cook rice, vegetables, meat, etc., and can be used effectively for reheating of food, however there is a limitation to use of microwave ovens food items like cakes and biscuits do not get browned easily as in ordinary ovens. Microwave cooking cannot be used for stewing or deep frying.
