Organized SECTOR includes those businesses, factories,enterprises, INDUSTRIES, schools, hospitals and units which areregistered with the government. It also includes shops, clinic and offices that possess aformal license.On the other HAND, unorganized sector consist of the workers and enterprises that are not under governmentregulation, unlicensed, self-employed or unregistered economic activity. This also includesunincorporatedprivate enterprises owned by individuals or households engaged in the production of goods and services operated on a proprietary or partnership basis ANDWITH less than ten total workers.Handicraft and hand-loom workers, domestic help, migrant workers, building and construction workers,street vendors, wage-earning jobs like crop-harvesting, cleaning and any other UNPROTECTED occupation are covered under unorganized sector.Informal sector is sometimes referred to as shadow economy.
