1.	Write the Hooke’s law.
Answer» According to Hooke’s law, within the limit of elasticity, the stress is proportional to strain. Stress ∝ Strain or Stress = E × Strain. Here E is a constant known as modulus of rigidity. Its unit is same as that of stress.
