Why it take more time to cook rice or dhal as compare to the plane area

Answer» On mountains and hilly regions, the air is less dense and\xa0the atmospheric pressure is also\xa0less. As the altitude is higher, the air column weight is reduced. So the pressure is reduced as compared to the sea level or below the mountains. Water has a lower boiling point at a lower temperature. The food items like rice or meat\xa0need to be cooked at high temperatures. If we heat rice at 70°C, it does not cook completely. It becomes half cooked. Usually we use water to cook our food. So water heats up\xa0to the lower\xa0boiling point (say 80°C)\xa0at the top of the hill and boils. The temperature does not rise above 80°C. But at the sea level, the water boils up to\xa0100°C and so the food is heated to\xa0100°C. Then it is cooked nicely and it becomes soft and edible. It is possible to add salt to water to increase the boiling point on top of hills. But salt water could change the taste of food.

Difference between molecular mass and formula mass

Answer» The formula mass (formula weight) of a molecule is the sum of the atomic weights of the atoms in its empirical formula. The molecular mass (molecular weight) of a molecule is its average mass as calculated by adding together the atomic weights of the atoms in the molecular formula.

How atom exist

Answer» Atoms exist\xa0in free states in the form of molecule. ... Molecules may be formed by the combination of\xa0atoms\xa0of two or more different elements. For example molecule of water. It is formed by the combination of two\xa0atoms\xa0of hydrogen and one\xa0atom\xa0of oxygen.\xa0Atoms\xa0are not able to\xa0exist independently. All the elements on the far right side of the periodic table (inert or noble gas)\xa0atoms can exist independently\xa0because they all fulfil the octet rule. They\xa0do\xa0not need bond to become stable. ... A molecule is comprised of two or more chemically bonded\xa0atoms. It is estimated that there are between10^78 to 10^82\xa0atoms\xa0in the known, observable universe. In layman\'s terms, that works out to between ten quadrillion vigintillion and one-hundred thousand quadrillion vigintillion\xa0atoms.

What is sn2 reaction

Answer» The SN2 reaction is a nucleophilic substitution reaction where a bond is broken and another is formed synchronously. Two reacting species are involved in the rate determining step of the reaction. The term ‘SN2’ stands for – Substitution Nucleophilic Bimolecular. This type of reaction is also referred to as bimolecular nucleophilic substitution, associative substitution, and interchange mechanism.

Shape of d and p orbitals

Answer» The\xa0orbitals\xa0with the value l= 1 are the\xa0p orbitals\xa0which contain a nodal plane including the nucleus hence forming a dumbbell\xa0shape. The\xa0orbitals\xa0with l= 2 are the\xa0d orbitals\xa0which have complex\xa0shapes\xa0with at least two nodal surfaces. The\xa0orbitals\xa0with l= 3 are called the f\xa0orbitals\xa0that are more complex.\xa0d orbitals\xa0are wavefunctions with ℓ = 2. They have an even more complex angular distribution than the p\xa0orbitals. For most of them it is a "clover leaf" distribution (something like 2 dumbbells in a plane). dorbitals have two angular nodes (two angles at which the probability of electron is always zero.\xa0An\xa0orbital\xa0is a wave function for an electron defined by the three quantum numbers, n, ℓ and ml.\xa0Orbitals\xa0define regions in space where you are likely to find electrons. ...\xa0p orbitals\xa0(ℓ = 1) are dumb-bell\xa0shaped. The three possible\xa0p orbitals\xa0are always perpendicular to each other.

Hello
Hi ?
Demonetization\xa0is the act of stripping a currency unit of its status as legal tender. ... Sometimes, a country completely replaces the old currency with new currency. The opposite of\xa0demonetization\xa0is remonetization, in which a form of payment is restored as legal tender.\xa0Demonetization\xa0was initiated with a wide array of motives like stripping the\xa0Indian\xa0economy of its black money, push people to pay taxes for the unaccounted pile of cash, curb terrorism, promote the digital\xa0India\xa0movement and make\xa0India\xa0a cashless economy.

What will be the molarity of solution which contain 5.85gms of NaCl per 500 ml

Answer» The\xa0molarity\xa0is calculating the moles of solute\xa0per\xa0volume of\xa0solution\xa0that is taken in litre. It\xa0has\xa0to analyse with moles of\xa0NaCl\xa0is equal to 5.85/58.5=0.1.Molarity varies with temperature and so we have to specify this for the answer to be accurate. Let’s go with 20˚C. Also molarity is specified per litre of the solution and so we’ll need to work out the solution volume at 20˚C.Now the atomic masses of Sodium and Chlorine are 22.99 and 35.45 respectively, so the molecular mass of NaCl is 58.44g. With 5.85g of NaCl we therefore have:5.8558.44=0.1001\xa0mol5.8558.44=0.1001\xa0molMeanwhile 200ml of water has a mass of 200g and so the mass of the solution is 5.85+200=205.85g.\xa0
33.

What is mole fraction??

Answer» Kaise ho
Hi bro.
Mole fraction represents the number of molecules of a particular component in a mixture divided by the total number of moles in the given mixture. It’s a way of expressing the concentration of a solution.Mole Fraction formulaThe molar fraction can be represented by X. If the solution consists of components A and B, then the mole fraction is,Mole fraction of solute = Moles of solute/Moles of solute + moles of solvent

What is VSEPR model???

Answer» VSEPR\xa0notation gives a general formula for classifying chemical species based on the number of electron pairs around a central atom. Note, however, that not all species have the same molecular geometry. For\xa0example, carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide are both species, but one is linear and the other is bent.\xa0It is the relative arrangement of bonded atoms in a molecule. The way in which the bonded atoms direct themselves around the central atom is explained on the basis of this\xa0theory.
