Answer» 1. This region as the name suggests is located in the western part of the continent in the latitudinal belt of 45° to 65° N and S. 2. Main countries included in this region are the countries of Western Europe, South Eastern Australia, New Zealand, Western Coastline of USA and Canada, Southern Chile, Southern Alaska. 3. This region has mild to cool summer; average summer temperature is 20°C. Average winter temperature is 5°C. Winters are quite warm due to warm ocean current passing along the coastline. 4. Due to nearness to sea, there is always high cloud cover and high humidity. Average rainfall is 500 to 2500 mm. Fog, frost and drizzle are common. 5.
