Write down a DEFINITION of LUN Masking?
Logical UNIT Number(LUN) Masking is process or we can say its a authorization process which makes LUN available to some hosts and unavailable to other hosts. Logical Unit Number Masking is implemented primarily at Host Bus Adapter(HBA) level. Here LUN masking implemented at this level is vulnerable to any attack that compromises the HBA. Some of the STORAGE CONTROLLERS also support LUN masking.
