A variety of occupations in the society help us in fulfilling our needs

Answer»

Farming : Lets say all farmers stop working as off today then for few months we will live on reserve then when no farmers step up, we will stop using quora and start digging on our backyard and with so many trial and errors we will learn farming and world will change and may change forever. The POINT is farming can't be stopped we should consider it as a resource as important as anything for survival of our race rather than a profession. So we are not including farming in the most important profession. Doctor : If doctors stop working then its all about survival of the fittest if you have good genes, good you have chance to survive. The number of deaths will increase exponentially but I can't tell whether rich or poor nations will HIT the worst because poor nations ALREADY have unavailability of doctors but rich nations don't.( btw i said doctors i didn't include nurse or any other medical professionals because becoming a 'good' doctor can take years or decades of TRAINING Like the case of famers when doctors stops working we can train new but it will take years unlike farming or nursing ) Teaching : Well who will teach the new doctors ?? :). Alright lets say all the teachers stop working not just school but everywhere, thats it after this generation a few with bright minds or those who was half way there or those children who learned to read atleast will make a try to use all those machines or fly a jet or run a factory but it won't work well and then comes a generation of illiterate, and what then we will be like those cave men. I think TEACHING is the most important profession. NB: There are two other professions which people are not thankful enough Military (atleast they get respect ) and my own profession Merchant Navy (think about it 90% of world trade carries out through ship and yet there was no mention of it anywhere, may be I am overestimating it's importance, one day we should also stop working may be that will create wide range of opportunity of making their own earbuds to digging fossil fuels all by themselves.Hope this helps you DEAR.

Write a brief not on the ziggurats of the Mesopotamia civilization

Answer»

Explanation: ziggurat (/ˈzɪɡʊˌræt/; Akkadian: ziqquratu,[2] D-stem of zaqāru 'to protrude, to build high',[3] cognate with other semitic languages like Hebrew zaqar (זָקַר) 'protrude'[4][5]) is a type of massive structure built in ancient Mesopotamia. It has the form of a terraced compound of successively receding stories or levels. Notable ziggurats include the Great Ziggurat of Ur near Nasiriyah, the Ziggurat of Aqar Quf near BAGHDAD, the now destroyed Etemenanki in Babylon, Chogha Zanbil in Khūzestān and Sialk. The Sumerians believed that the Gods lived in the temple at the top of the Ziggurats, so only priests and other highly respected individuals could enter. SOCIETY offered them many things such as MUSIC, harvest, and creating devotional statues to leave in the temple. The biblical account of the Tower of BABEL has been associated by modern scholars to the massive construction undertakings of the ziggurats of Mesopotamia,[6] and in particular to the ziggurat of Etemenanki in Babylon in light of the Tower of Babel Stele[7] describing its restoration by Nebuchadnezzar II. The design of Egyptian pyramids, especially the stepped designs of the oldest pyramids (Pyramid of Zoser at Saqqara, 2600 BCE), may have been an evolution from the ziggurats built in Mesopotamia
