Then, in the 1800s, Louis PASTEUR found a way to create vaccines in the lab, and the modern age of vaccines had begun. 2 ans]The decrease in food supply caused due to the change in season FORCES the BIRDS to migrate to a place where there is ample supply of food. ans 3]Drip or Trickle Irrigation Method (Modern Irrigation Method):- A recently developed irrigation system known as drip irrigation also known as “Trickle Irrigation” originally developed in Israel, is becoming popular in areas of water scarcity. In this irrigation system, a little bit of water is applied at regular intervals in the form of water droplets through nozzles connected to tubes spread over the soil to IRRIGATE a limited area around the plant. |

|
Answer» Explanation: 1. NITROGEN AND OXYGEN ARE THE TWO MAJOR CONSTITUENTS OF AIR. NITROGEN FORMS ABOUT 78 PERCENT AND OXYGEN FORMS ABOUT 21 PERCENT OF DRY AIR BY VOLUME. AIR ALSO CONTAINS CARBON DIOXIDE WHICH FORMS ABOUT 0.03 PERCENT OF THE VOLUME OF AIR. THE REMAINING PART OF AIR CONSISTS OF INERT GASES ,WATER VAPOUR AND DUST. 2. The experiment is supposed to show that air has weight. You first make a balance by tying a piece of string around the center point of the yardstick and then tying the other end of the string to something LIKE a shower rod, so that the yardstick balances. This may take some work, so be patient. 3. The atmosphere protects living things from the Sun's most HARMFUL rays. Gases reflect or absorb the strongest rays of sunlight (Figure below). Theatmosphere SHIELDS Earth from the most harmful solar rays. 4. Earth's Atmospheric Layers Troposphere. The troposphere starts at the Earth's surface and extends 8 to 14.5 kilometers high (5 to 9 miles). ...Stratosphere. The stratosphere starts just above the troposphere and extends to 50 kilometers (31 miles) high. ...Mesosphere. ...Thermosphere. ...Ionosphere. ...Exosphere. ...Credit: NASA/Goddard. 5. The main properties of water are its polarity, COHESION, adhesion, surface tension, high specific heat, and evaporative cooling. A water molecule is slightly charged on both ends. This is because oxygen is more electronegative than hydrogen.Aug 22, 2014 6. Sedimentation can be defined as the settling down of suspended, insoluble, heavy solid particle in a solid-liquid mixture. (b) Decantation can be defined as the process of pouring out the clear liquid without disturbing the sediment. |

Calculate the number of images formed by two plane mirrors placed at an angle of 30°to each other. State any two applications of multiple reflection. |
|
Answer» Answer: The number of images formed when two MIRRORS are placed at an angle theta to each other is given by: n = ( 360 / theta ) - 1 So, here, we have the mirrors placed PERPENDICULAR to each other. So, theta = 90 degree => n = no. of images formed => n = ( 360 / 30 ) - 1 => n = 12 - 1 => n = 11 So, a total of ELEVEN images will be formed. Explanation: hope it helps you |

Connect the different points you have marked, with arrows, to show the direction in which the ant was moving moving. Each point you have marked bows where the ant moved to in intervals of a few seconds. Ant Facts for Kids There are more than 12,000 species of ants all over the world. An ant can lift 20 times its own body weight. If a second grader was as strong as an ant, she would be able to pick up a car! Some queen ants can live for MANY years and have millions of babies! Ants don’t have ears. Ants "hear" by feeling vibrations in the ground through their feet. When ants fight, it is usually to the death! When foraging, ants leave a pheromone trail so that they know where they’ve been. Queen ants have wings, which they shed when they START a new nest. Ants don’t have lungs. Oxygen enters through tiny holes all over the body and carbon dioxide leaves through the same holes. When the queen of the colony dies, the colony can only survive a few months. Queens are rarely replaced and the workers are not able to reproduce. Although ants are frustrating when they get into your home or when you’re having a picnic, ants do help the environment. They are social insects, which means they live in large colonies or groups. Depending on the species, ant colonies can consist of millions of ants. There are three kinds of ants in a colony: The queen, the female workers, and males. The queen and the males have wings, while the workers don’t have wings. The queen is the only ant that can lay eggs. The male ant’s job is to mate with future queen ants and they do not live very long afterwards. Once the queen grows to adulthood, she spends the rest of her life laying eggs! Depending on the species, a colony may have one queen or many queens. Ant colonies also have SOLDIER ants that protect the queen, defend the colony, gather or kill food, and attack enemy colonies in search for food and nesting space. If they defeat another ant colony, they take away eggs of the defeated ant colony. When the eggs hatch, the new ants become the "slave" ants for the colony. Some jobs of the colony include taking care of the eggs and babies, gathering food for the colony and building the anthills or mounds. ❤❤❤HELLO SISO ❤ BE HAPPY AND FINE be BEST and take care by- YIREN |
