Describe the procedure to make the sample of a toy telephone. RIGHT AND NICE ANSWER WILL GET GOOD POINTS AND BRAINLIST.

Answer»

Here's how to make a sample of a toy telephone  Material needed is as follows - 1. Two paper clips 2. Two paper cups 3. About 3 yards (2.7 meters) of string 4. Pin Here's what to do -: Make a hole in the CENTER of the base of both cups, using the pin. Tie ONE paperclip to one end of the string. Pull the other end of the string through the hole in one of the paper cups. The paperclip should be inside the paper cup. Insert the free end of the string into the hole in the bottom of the second paper cup. Insert it from the outside of the cup. Pull enough string through the hole to enable you to tie the second paperclip to the end of the string. Pull the cups apart so that in each cup the paperclip rests flat on the floor of the cup and the string is taut. take one cup, and have a friend take the second cup. Walk away from each other until the string is taught you're now ready to USE your paper cup phone. Another process is..equipment REQUIRED for a set of experiments involving an electroscope: When the glass rod is rubbed with silk, the silk strips electrons from the rod, leaving it a positive charge. When the hard RUBBER rod is rubbed with wool, it gains electrons from the wool, gaining a negative charge

How can we hear?????

Answer»

Sound waves enter the outer ear and travel through a narrow passageway called the ear CANAL, which leads to the eardrum. The eardrum vibrates from the incoming sound waves and sends these vibrations to three tiny bones in the middle ear. These bones are called the malleus, incus, and stapes. The bones in the middle ear amplify, or increase, the sound vibrations and send them to the cochlea, a snail-shaped structure filled with FLUID, in the inner ear. An elastic partition runs from the beginning to the end of the cochlea, SPLITTING it into an upper and lower part. This partition is called the basilar membrane because it serves as the base, or ground floor, on which key hearing structures sit. Once the vibrations cause the fluid inside the cochlea to ripple, a traveling WAVE forms along the basilar membrane. Hair cells—sensory cells sitting on top of the basilar membrane—ride the wave. Hair cells near the wide end of the snail-shaped cochlea detect higher-pitched sounds, such as an infant crying. Those closer to the center detect lower-pitched sounds, such as a large dog barking. As the hair cells move up and down, microscopic hair-like projections (known as stereocilia) that perch on top of the hair cells bump against an overlying structure and bend. Bending causes pore-like channels, which are at the tips of the stereocilia, to open up. When that happens, CHEMICALS rush into the cells, creating an electrical signal. The auditory nerve carries this electrical signal to the brain, which turns it into a sound that we recognize and understand.

hello guys tomorrow will be my science exam can you send me revision notes for class 7 chapter 1 chapter 2 nutrition in animals in plantspls

Answer»

chapter 1 class 7 notes ,I hope this would help youliving and non livingExplanation:Introduction to Nutrition in PlantsLiving and Non-Living OrganismsLiving organisms like human beings, plants and animals need food to survive and exist.Living organisms reproduce, respond to the environment and also adapt.Living organisms respire and excrete as well.CellsCells are tiny units that help make up a living organism. Hence, they are also called building blocks of an organism.A cell is constituted of three major parts :A thin outer layer called the cell membrane.A spherical structure located at the centre of the cell called a nucleus.A jelly-like substance that SURROUNDS a nucleus called the cytoplasm. To know more about Cell, visit here.Single and Multi-Cellular OrganismsOrganisms that are made up of just one cell are called single-celled or Unicellular organisms. E.g. AmoebaOrganisms with more than one cell in their body are called multicellular organisms. All human beings, plants and animals are multicellular organisms. To know the difference between Unicellular and Muti-Cellular Organisms, visit here.NutritionNutrition is the mode of taking food by an organism and its utilisation by the body.Nutrition is very important as the nutrients from the food consumed enables living organisms to build their bodies and GROW.Nutrition helps to repair damaged parts and organs.Nutrition also provides energy for carrying out various functions.Autotrophs and HeterotrophsOrganisms that make food themselves are called autotrophs.Plants are an example of autotrophs as they make their own food using carbon dioxide, water and light energy.Organisms that rely on others and usually take in ready-made food made by the autotrophs are called heterotrophs.Animals and human beings are an example of heterotrophs as they depend on plants in MANY ways for their food.To know the difference between autotrophs and heterotrophs, visit here.PhotosynthesisPhotosynthesis is the PROCESS of synthesis of food by green plants. This process usually takes place in the leaves of plants. The process requires chlorophyll (green coloured pigment), sunlight, carbon dioxide and water. OrganellesOrganelles are tiny cellular structures inside a cell and perform SPECIFIC functions that are important for the cell. They are found in the cytoplasm of a cell.E.g. Chloroplast is the cell organelle that carries out photosynthesis.ChloroplastsThe chloroplast is a type of organelle that exists in plants. These organelles contain chlorophyll, the green coloured pigment that is responsible for carrying out the process of photosynthesis in plants.ChlorophyllChlorophyll is the pigment that is responsible for the synthesis of food in green plants. This pigment green colour to its bearers and is abundantly found in leaves.Chlorophyll is locked inside the chloroplast.Process of PhotosynthesisThe process of photosynthesis takes place in the leaves, the “food factory” of the plants.Carbon dioxide is taken in through tiny pores on the leaves called stomata.Water and minerals that are required for the process are transported to the leaves from the roots through the stem.Chlorophyll helps the leaves use the energy from the sunlight to prepare food using the carbon dioxide, water and minerals.Oxygen is released as a by-product of this process. The equation can be given as:Nutrients Being Replenished in SoilNutrientsPlants absorb mineral nutrients from the soil in order to make their own food and for other important processes.Soils need to be enriched with nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium etc regularly.Only then can we grow plants and keep them healthy. There are 17 most important nutrients for plants.6 are called macronutrients and rest are called micronutrients.Macronutrients are required in large quantities while micronutrients are required in very small quantities. To know more about Soil Fertility:Other Modes of NutritionSymbiotic RelationshipOrganisms that live together and share their shelter and nutrients are said to be in a symbiotic relationship.

Describe an activity that gives an understanding of ‘Electrostatic force’. RIGHT AND BIG ANSWER WILL GET BRAINLIST.

Answer»

MaterialsHard-rubber combGlass rodPiece of SILK or nylonTwo PIECES of polystyrene foamTwo pieces of string or threadRing stand and ringAluminum foilPaperTowel ProcedureSafety Note: Electrostatic forces are very sensitive to the environment. As you conduct this activity, be careful not to get fingerprints on the materials. Do not allow the materials to touch your clothing. Make sure classroom windows are closed. Because humidity greatly affects electrostatic forces, conduct the activity in an air-conditioned room. Do not conduct this activity on a metal table. You may have to repeat each step several times, taking these precautions each time.Clean the hard-rubber comb and glass rob. Remove all of the water with a towel. Tear up the paper into tiny pieces. Make a small pile of the pieces of paper.Produce a negative (–) charge on the comb by rapidly passing it through dry, greaseless hair (straight hair works BEST). Bring the CHARGED comb near the pile. Record what you observe.Produce a positive (+) charge on a glass rod by rapidly rubbing it with silk or NYLON. Bring the charged rod near the pile. Record what you observe.
