On “Life after COVID-19 Era” (not more than 500 words) |
|
Answer» Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), also known as the coronavirus or COVID, is a contagious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The first known CASE was identified in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.[7] The disease has since spread worldwide, leading to an ongoing pandemic.[8] SYMPTOMS of COVID-19 are variable, but often include fever,[9] cough, headache,[10] fatigue, breathing difficulties, and loss of smell and taste.[11][12] Symptoms may begin one to fourteen days after exposure to the virus. At least a third of people who are infected do not develop noticeable symptoms.[13] Of those people who develop noticeable symptoms enough to be classed as patients, most (81%) develop mild to moderate symptoms (up to mild pneumonia), while 14% develop severe symptoms (dyspnea, hypoxia, or more than 50% lung involvement on imaging), and 5% suffer critical symptoms (respiratory failure, shock, or multiorgan dysfunction).[14] Older people are at a higher risk of developing severe symptoms. Some people continue to experience a range of effects (long COVID) for months after recovery, and damage to organs has been observed.[15] Multi-year studies are underway to further investigate the long-term effects of the disease.[15] Transmission of COVID-19 occurs mainly when an infected person is in close contact[a] with another person.[19][20] Small droplets containing the virus can spread from an infected person's nose and mouth as they breathe, cough, sneeze, sing, or speak. Other people are infected if the virus gets into their mouth, nose or eyes. Airborne transmission is also sometimes possible, as smaller infected droplets and particles can linger in the air for minutes to hours within enclosed spaces that have inadequate ventilation.[20] Less commonly, the virus may spread via contaminated surfaces.[20] People who are infected can transmit the virus to another person up to two days before they themselves show symptoms, as can people who do not experience symptoms.[21][22] People remain infectious for up to ten days after the onset of symptoms in moderate cases and up to twenty days in severe cases.[23] Several testing methods have been developed to diagnose the disease. The standard diagnostic method is by detection of the virus' nucleic acid by real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR), transcription-mediated amplification (TMA), or by reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) from a nasopharyngeal swab. Preventive measures include physical or social distancing, quarantining, ventilation of indoor spaces, COVERING coughs and sneezes, hand washing, and keeping unwashed hands away from the FACE. The use of face masks or coverings has been recommended in public settings to minimise the risk of transmissions. Several vaccines have been developed and many countries have initiated mass vaccination campaigns. Although work is underway to develop drugs that inhibit the virus, the PRIMARY treatment is symptomatic. Management involves the treatment of symptoms, supportive care, isolation, and experimental measures. We are affected by this covid |

Short answer question in one sentence 5. What is hybridization? |
|
Answer» Answer: Hybridization is the idea that atomic orbitals FUSE to form newly hybridized orbitals, which in turn, influences molecular geometry and bonding properties. Hybridization is also an EXPANSION of the valence bond theory Hybridization Hybridization is defined as the CONCEPT of mixing two atomic orbitals with the same energy levels to GIVE a degenerated new type of orbitals. This intermixing is based on quantum mechanics. The atomic orbitals of the same energy level can only TAKE part in hybridization and both full filled and half-filled orbitals can also take part in this process, provided they have equal energy. |

Q if you take a potted plant then you have to describe itsprocedure ,observations, interfernce [conclusion]what you will write to answer your question ??????? |
|
Answer» Answer: PLEASE MARK ME AS BRAINLIESTExperiment: Objective: To show experimentally that light is essential for photosynthesis. Apparatus and materials required: A healthy potted plant, a petri dish, a beaker containing water, forceps, a water bath, a PIECE of wire gauze, a tripod, a burner, a box of matches, alcohol a strip of black paper, iodine solution and clips. Theory:
Photosynthesis is a biochemical process by which green plants s5mthesize simple sugar in the presence of sunlight using carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and water from the soil. This simple sugar (glucose) is later converted to starch. 6CO2 + 12H2O ChlorophyII / Sunlight C6H12O6 + 6H2O + 6O2 The most important factor for photosynthesis is light. The rate of photosynthesis depends on the quantity and quality of light. The chlorophyll molecule in green leaves absorb light, get EXCITED and emit electrons. The emitted electrons are used in the production of ADENOSINE triphosphate (ATP). Finally the solar energy is converted into chemical energy and STORED in the glucose produced.
The rate of photosynthesis is the maximum in the presence of red and blue lights, while in green light the rate is minimum because green light is reflected by the chlorophyll molecules. Procedure: 1. Take the potted plant and keep it in a dark place for 2-3 days so that the leaves get destarched. 2. Cover a part of one of its leaves with the strip of black paper. Make sure that you cover both the sides of the leaf. 3. Now place this plant in sunlight for 3—4 hours. 4. Pluck the selected covered leaf and remove the black paper covering it. 5. Place this leaf in the beaker containing water and boil it for about 10 minutes. 6. Take out the leaf and now boil it in alcohol, using the water bath, for 10 minutes. This removes the chlorophyll. 7. Take out the leaf and wash it under running water. 8. Place this leaf in the Petri dish and put a few drops of iodine solution on it. Now observe the change in colour. Experiment to Show that Light is Essential For Photosynthesis Observations: The leaf turns blue-black except in the covered region. As this covered region did not receive light, photosynthesis did not occur. Hence no starch was formed there. The uncovered region received light and starch was formed there due to photosynthesis. Result: Light is essential for photosynthesis. Precautions: 1. Before starting the experiment, the leaf must be distracted. 2. The leaf must be covered with black paper PROPERLY to prevent the entry of light. |
