During the JUNE 21st solstice (summer solstice in the northern hemisphere and winter solstice in the southern hemisphere), the northern hemisphere is more inclined towards the Sun and RECEIVES most of the solar radiation. Six months later, on December 21, the Earth reaches the winter solstice (in the northern hemisphere and summer solstice in the southern hemisphere), when the southern hemisphere is inclined towards the Sun and receives the majority solar radiation.
