How many marks needed to join in iiit

Answer»

When I stands for Indian you have to apply through JOSAA and your your Mains AIR is considered. So cutoffs vary each year there’s also home state quota and RESERVATION so depends person to person.Look upto JOSAA results for cutoffs. But here’s one exception IIIT-BBSR(I for International) you have to apply separately through their portal and your Mains marks are considered least cutoff may be around 140 for ECE and probably same for IT/CE and finally around 150 for CSE(however cutoffs aren’t REVEALED yet). Also there may be some exception like IIIT-BBSR(idk about them).

WHen I stands for International(IIIT-H and IIIT-B) for IIIT-H you have to apply saparately through their portal. It’s the best college for computers in India. So you can imagine cutoffs! They consider your Mains marks. There’re different types of courses single to dual degree and you can look on their sites for cutoffs and other INFORMATION. Usually you need to score 220+ to get any branch there. Now for IIIT-B it’s also the renowned college. Again you need to apply separately through their portal and again the cutoffs are as high as 170 to 180+. Look upto their sites for more info.

When I stands for Indraprastha(IIIT-D) you need to apply through JAC counselling which is usually held for DTU, NSIT and IIIT-D. It’s also one of the top college! SO again cutoffs are high vary year to year(upto 180–200+).

13326.

Which forecasting time frame best identifies seasonal effects?

Answer»

You can generate both detail (single item) forecasts and summary (product line) forecasts that reflect product demand patterns. The system analyzes past sales to calculate forecasts by using 12 forecasting methods. The forecasts include detail information at the item level and higher level information about a branch or the company as a whole.

3.1 Forecast Performance Evaluation Criteria

Depending on the selection of processing options and on trends and patterns in the sales DATA, some forecasting methods perform BETTER than others for a given historical data set. A forecasting method that is appropriate for one product might not be appropriate for ANOTHER product. You might find that a forecasting method that provides good results at one stage of a product life cycle remains appropriate throughout the entire life cycle.

You can select between two methods to evaluate the current performance of the forecasting methods:

Percent of accuracy (POA).

Mean absolute deviation (MAD).

Both of these performance evaluation methods require historical sales data for a period that you specify. This period is called a holdout period or period of best fit. The data in this period is used as the basis for recommending which forecasting method to use in making the next forecast projection. This recommendation is specific to each product and can change from one forecast generation to the next.

3.1.1 Best Fit

The system recommends the best fit forecast by applying the selected forecasting methods to past sales order history and comparing the forecast simulation to the actual history. When you generate a best fit forecast, the system compares actual sales order histories to forecasts for a specific time period and COMPUTES how accurately each different forecasting method predicted sales. Then the system recommends the most accurate forecast as the best fit. This graphic illustrates best fit forecasts:

The TAMIL Indians first arrived on the Malay Peninsula in the 15th century and were successful as textile and spice merchants. Of these earliest Indian communities, only a small minority survived. They have adopted MANY Malay customs over the years, including the Malay language, food, and dress. Under the British RULE in Malaysia during the 18th century, the great MIGRATION started. Later on, they were recruited to work in the rubber and palm oil industries.

PORE Water Pressure
The pressure of water in the pores of the soil is called pore water pressure (U). The magnitude of pore water pressure depends on:

the depth below the water table.
the conditions of seepage flow.

Under hydrostatic conditions, no water flow takes PLACE, and the pore pressure at a given point is given by
u = gw.h

where h = depth below water table or overlying water surface

It is convenient to think of pore water pressure as the pressure exerted by a column of water in an IMAGINARY standpipe inserted at the given point.

The natural level of ground water is called the water table or the phreatic surface. Under conditions of no seepage flow, the water table is horizontal. The magnitude of the pore water pressure at the water table is zero. Below the water table, pore water pressures are positive.
