Short essay and project matter Save Environment |
|
Answer» re many things that we could do to help the environment. We need to help the environment because we live on earth, and this is the only place we can live on right now. If we treat it like the city dump it becomes dirty and unlivable. If we treat it well, the earth stays a clean place, perfect for living, for ourselves and our children. In order to save the environment you need to be aware of what you are doing, buying, using, and what it does to the environment. There are many ways we can help save the environment everyday. You can reduce the AMOUNT of waste you produce by buying products in bulk, rather than in individually wrapped containers. You can also reuse things. Do not throw away unwanted used computer paper, use the other side for scratch paper, then recycle it. Before you throw broken things away, see how much it would take to repair them. Donate used clothes, furniture, toys, books, and MAGAZINES to charity. It is also very easy to recycle. You can try to find recycling centers in your area that will accept toner cartridges, aluminum & steel cans, newspapers & phone books, PLASTIC JUGS & bottles, glass jars & bottles, shopping bags, car batteries, and motor oil. Another thing you can do if you have a yard to do it in is compost. Compost makes a great fertilizer for your plants. If you try to stay away from using disposable plates, cups, napkins, and plastic ware, that would help. Something people a lot of times don't thi!nk of is using rechargeable batteries or renewable alkaline batteries. Whenever possible, use fluorescent lighting. It lasts longer and uses ..hope it wll work for u |

Adult education and ways to implement it from class 9th chapter 1 literature speech |
| Answer» IA is still a developing country, and one of the major obstacles on our path of development is illiteracy among our masses. One very efficient way to deal with this, would be to spread adult education. Every nook and corner of our country should get enlightened with the LAMP of education and this should comprise of those adults too, who in their childhood had not been privileged enough to get education. If a BIG enough SECTION of adults in our country are without education, this would cast a very serious affect on our development. It is on these adults that reins of the country depends, they need to be well informed and aware. Only if they themselves are educated, they will understand the importance of education and work hard to get their children educated. A lot depends on the literacy levels of our citizens. Now the government has taken many steps to promote and spread adult education. Camps, Special classes etc are being held. We can also provide additional financial assistance to such people, as because their first priority will be to earn a living, not to study. So it their financial grounds are secure, they can devote more time to LEARNING. Kerala is such a state which is already faring excellently in this matter.Still, there is a lot left to be done, and no doubt, coming together we will one day, very soon achieve this goal. | |

How can we say that the earth is round |
|
Answer» proof of the Earth being round came after the VOYAGE of Columbus. When Newton discovered and measured the force of gravity, that number could then be tested anywhere the theory was known. Since the force of gravity is roughly the same everywhere on the globe, it could be surmised that the Earth must be spherical. If the Earth were not round, whole hemispheres would have different atmospheric pressure and significantly different sea levels. Also, pictures taken of the Earth in the last 50 years have proved absolutely conclusively that the Earth is round. These are just the arguments that don't require MUCH physics knowledge to explain, there are others that are more technical, but I think that the simplest arguments are the best. Now that we have access to space, the easiest way to prove the Earth is spherical is to leave it and view it from a distance. Astronauts and space probes have done just that. Every picture of Earth ever taken shows only a circular shape, and the only geometric SOLID which looks like a circle from any direction is a sphere. ONE of the oldest proofs of the Earth's shape, however, can be seen from the ground and occurs during every LUNAR eclipse. The geometry of a lunar eclipse has been known since ancient Greece. When a full Moon occurs in the plane of Earth's orbit, the Moon slowly moves through Earth's shadow. Every time that shadow is seen, its edge is round. Once again, the only solid that always projects a round shadow is a sphere. |
