How does hot and lumid climate favour spinning and weaving

Answer»

Textiles are hygroscopic. That is, they absorb or release MOISTURE depending on the relative humidity of the surrounding air. If the atmosphere is drier than the textile’s equilibrium relative humidity then the textile will GIVE up its moisture to the air.

A drop in the equilibrium relative humidity of a textile MAY CAUSE it to be weaker, thinner, less elastic and therefore more brittle. It will ALSO have more imperfections. By maintaining the air humidity whilst processing the fibers, this loss in moisture to the atmosphere is minimized.

Thus, if you move from one longitude to the NEXT the difference will be of 4 minutes. 360 degree = 24 hours, so 1 hr = 15 degrees, 1 degree = 4 minutes.

What measures are being taken to control pollution in the river of india

Answer»

Originally Answered: What measures should be taken to control the pollution in the river water in India?

The Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, has introduced in India in the Year 1974, but its real implementation started very late. Many cities & Municipalities in India are still discharging their UNTREATED sewage's into the water bodies causing serious water pollution.

Even though the Authorities are taking measures to prevent Water pollution's from Industries, the actions are insufficient leading to unauthorized discharge of waste water into the fresh water bodies by many units. In many Industrial Units, the TREATMENT plant capacities are either inadequate or not in proper operational conditions.

The Solid waste generated from Municipalities & Industries are also not properly handled in our country leading to the leaching of hazardous & harmful chemicals into the fresh water bodies during rainy season. Most of our sacred rivers are flooded with Plastics & partially burned dead bodies causing serious environmental concern.

In order to curb & control the prevailing water pollution's India, our GOVERNMENTS should create proper infra structure for scientifically handling all the waste generated from house holds. Industries should implement proper wastewater treatment & dump their solid wastes in secured landfills operated by Government approved facilities. In environmental law, the Polluter pays PRINCIPLE is enacted to make the party responsible for producing pollution and are also responsible for paying for the damage done to the natural environment. For the strict Implementation of the above law, the Regulatory Agencies should TAKE strict actions against all violators causing Water, Air & Land Pollution.
