How could a society without property operate? What would be the basis of socialist society?

Answer»

Interesting question! I personally believe that a society can't exist without property. Even in communist societies there will be some kind of properties, like the houses, with each person. This is natural as even animals MARK their properties, which are trees, ponds etc. I recently happened to watch a video where a Crane fights another Crane as the latter has captured the former's summer retreat in Sweden. Coming to the question. A society without property will not be a productive society. Thus it stays at the primitive level. Hunting and gathering forest produce would be the only activities in such a society as there would be no initiative to go into agriculture and produce a surplus. It wouldn't be a SOCIALIST society as well. Strong people would be able to FEED for themselves but the weak will depend endlessly on their loved ones. The only socialistic activity would be a strong person collecting two fruits or hunting two animals instead of one for the sake of the weak MEN of his/her TRIBE. This wouldn't even occur if the society is based in harsh regions like deserts, where a weak person would be seen as a liability by the tribeExplanation:

India before and after independence for essey

Answer»

India, before 1947, was a country divided by many regions, languages, religions and cultures. On AUGUST 14th, 1947, the Islamic REPUBLIC of Pakistan became independent. On August 15th, 1947, the jewel of the British Empire, India, was granted independence. India had been divided, primarily along a religious line, into two pieces. There are many different reasons why partition occurred. When the British oppressed India, they had a divide and conquer policy that exacerbated the religious and cultural rifts that already existed in the society. The Muslim League, believing in the ideology of “Pakistan” actively campaigned to gain more support from the Muslims in India, especially under the guidance of dynamic leaders like Jinnah. The disjointed countries used to be a nation of people where, for the most part, the differences in religion, culture and language did not destroy peace, however, partition turned the entire subcontinent into an abattoir. India is the world’s largest democracy. It is the only country in Asia that has remained democratic ever since it attained its independence from British rule. The only exception to this is the brief period of the Emergency in 1975-76, when the democratic process was halted. But it is through the democratic route of elections that the ruling caucus was dethroned and an alternative government installed. But that did not last long and the CONGRESS party returned to power by winning back the confidence of the people.West Pakistan took away Western Punjab, Sindh, and Baluchistan; East Pakistan was created with the partition of Bengal into East and West, the LATTER remaining with India. Thus, there was a long corridor of India that separated East Pakistan from West Pakistan. That such a FORMATION of the new state was non-pragmatic and unworkable was proven by later events

21635.

What was the impact of the Aryans on the indigenous people of India? Briefly explain any changes that might have taken place after the Aryans migratedto India?

Answer»

Indo-Aryan migration models[note 1] discuss scenarios around the theory of an origin from outside the Indian subcontinent of Indo-Aryan peoples, an ascribed ethnolinguistic group that spoke Indo-Aryan languages, the predominant languages of North India. Proponents of Indo-Aryan origin outside of the Indian subcontinent generally consider migrations into the region and Anatolia (ancient Mitanni) from Central Asia to have started around 1500 BCE, as a slow diffusion during the Late Harappan period, which led to a language shift in the northern Indian subcontinent. The Iranian languages were brought into Iran by the Iranians, who were closely related to the Indo-Aryans.The Proto-Indo-Iranian CULTURE, which gave rise to the Indo-Aryans and Iranians, developed on the Central Asian steppes north of the Caspian Sea as the Sintashta culture (2100–1800 BCE)[2][3][4][5][6][7] in present-day Russia and KAZAKHSTAN, and developed further as the Andronovo culture (1800–1400 BCE),[8] around the Aral Sea. The proto-Indo-Iranians then migrated southwards to the Bactria-Margiana Culture, from which they borrowed their distinctive religious beliefs and practices. The Indo-Aryans split off around 1800 BCE to 1600 BCE from the Iranians,[9] whereafter the Indo-Aryans migrated into Anatolia and the northern part of the South Asia (modern Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Nepal), while the Iranians moved into Iran, both bringing with them the Indo-Iranian languages.Migration by an Indo-European people was first hypothesized in the late 18th century, following the discovery of the Indo-European language family, when similarities between western and Indian languages had been NOTED. Given these similarities, a single source or origin was proposed, which was diffused by migrations from some original homeland. This linguistic argument is supported by archeological, anthropological, genetical, literary and ecological research. Genetic research reveals that those migrations form part of a complex genetic puzzle on the origin and spread of the various components of the Indian population. Literary research reveals similarities between various, geographically distinct, Indo-Aryan historical cultures. Ecological studies reveal that in the second millennium BCE widespread aridization lead to water shortages and ecological changes in both the Eurasian steppes and the Indian subcontinent,[web 1] causing the collapse of sedentary urban cultures in south central Asia, Afghanistan, Iran, and India, and triggering large-scale migrations, resulting in the merger of migrating peoples with the post-urban cultures.[web 1]The Indo-Aryan migrations started in APPROXIMATELY 1800 BCE, after the invention of the war chariot, and also brought Indo-Aryan languages into the Levant and possibly Inner Asia. It was part of the diffusion of Indo-European languages from the proto-Indo-European homeland at the Pontic–Caspian steppe, a large area of grasslands in far Eastern Europe, which started in the 5th to 4th millennia BCE, and the Indo-European migrations out of the Eurasian Steppes, which started approximately in 2000 BCE.[10][1]The theory posits that these Indo-Aryan speaking people may have been a genetically diverse group of people who were united by shared cultural norms and language, referred to as aryā, "noble". Diffusion of this culture and language took place by patron-client systems, which allowed for the absorption and acculturation of other groups into this culture, and explains the strong influence on other cultures with which it interacted.
