12th class historych- 1 मृतको की गली मृतको की गली एक छोटी सी गली है। जो चौडाई मे 3 से 6 फुट तक है। वह स्थान जहा से गली बाई और पश्चिम दिशा मे मुडती है। वहा एक वयस्क की खोपड़ी के हिस्से, छाती और ऊपरी भुजा की कुछ अस्थियाँ खोजी गई, सभी बहुत भुरभुरी अवस्था मे थी। यह शरीर पीठ के बल गली के विकर्ण के रूप मे 2 फुट 4 इंच की गहराई पर पड़ा था। पश्चिम की ओर पंद्रह इंच पर एक छोटी सी खोपड़ी के कुछ टुकड़े थे। इन्ही अवशेषों के कारण इसे ''मृतको की गली '' नाम दिया गया।स्रोतः जोन मार्शल, मोहनजोदडो और सिंधु सभ्यता, 1931 1925 मे मोहनजोदडो के उसी भाग से सोलह लोगो के अस्थिपंजर उन गहनो सहित प्राप्त हुए जो उन्होने मृत्यु के समय पहने हुए थे। 1)उस गली को ''मृतको की गली '' क्यों कहा जाता है? 2)इस सूचना से कुछ विद्वान और पुरातत्ववेत्ताओ ने क्या निष्कर्ष निकाला?3)जोन मार्शल कौन था? वह खुदाई मे क्यो प्रवृत हुआ? 4)कभी कभी प्रारम्भिक व्याख्याएँ क्यो उलट दी जाती है?
