EXPLAIN THE METHOD OF CIRCUIT TRAININGAND ITS ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES |
Answer» Circuit training advantages and disadvantagesThere’s an endless list of workout programs or training methods that you can choose from. One such workout that is rapidly getting popular is circuit training. Just like the two sides of COIN, each of these methods have its pros and cons. Some are more suited to one person than the other because everybody has different goals, fitness levels, and body type. Circuit training requires the person to undergo a mix of bodyweight, cardio, and resistance exercises. The duration of each exercise can range from 30-60 seconds and is followed by the next exercise with a rest of 10-20 seconds in between. The total amount of circuit can last from 20-45 minutes. Here’s a quick review of its pros and cons to help you decide if it’s RIGHT for you. Advantages Efficient The circuits are designed by qualified coaches. If your circuit is well designed, then it can include cardio, strength, and resistance training all together. Moreover, a well aligned circuit will work all body parts one after the other. This ensures an efficient, balanced, and effective workout on a regular basis. Metabolism booster Circuit training is proven to BURN calories and fat even hours after the workout is completed. This is because circuit training revolves around high intensity exercises with a small interval between each exercise. After a brief rest, your heart rate will rise and CREATE excess post exercise oxygen consumption that is responsible for raising your body metabolism. Versatility Circuit training can be done anywhere if you can follow the basic concept. Hence, even if you cannot go to gym for a couple of days, your trainer can guide you on how to set up your own stations at home. It is not necessary to have gym equipment all the time. You can also take advantage of body-weight exercises. Time saver There are times when you have limited time to devote to exercise. In such a busy schedule, circuit training is the best because it enables you to do more in less time. Around 20-50 minutes is the required amount for a circuit. Hence, circuit training is a complete workout and that too in a shorter span of time. New and a nice change Circuit training is a good change if you have been doing weights, cardio, strength training and yoga for months and you and your body have gotten accustomed to the daily workout. A little variety is always welcome and adding circuit training to your weekly routine once/twice a week will keep you on your toes and your body may even show a vigorous change for the better! Disadvantages Not for newbies Circuit training may be shorter and faster but it is not easy. It requires stamina and may not be suitable for beginners or people with low fitness levels. Also, exhaustion from the rapid workout can make your form suffer and increases the risks of an injury. Hence, it is preferable to build your stamina before trying out circuit training and do it under the supervision of qualified coach. Little muscle gain If your aim is to build muscle or gain weight quickly, then circuit training is not the right choice. You can surely get toned and burn fat with circuit training but you will not be able to gain serious muscles with this approach. Will not count as strength training For strength training, it is vital that you carry weights more than 75% of your maximum capacity to activate the muscle fibres. It also requires a 1-2 minute break between exercises to allow muscles to recover. Hence, if your fitness goal is strength or body building, circuit training is not the ideal method. Difficult to set up at home Setting up an entire circuit at home is space consuming and you may not find the motivation to do so. Moreover, there is no one to guide you about posture and form which can lead to injuries. As earlier mentioned, everyone can have different opinions about circuit training according to their lifestyle, goals, fitness and stamina. Most people will enjoy the results if they are doing circuit training under a qualified instructor. hope it HELPS you dear ❤️ |

Briefly mention the role played by land lords in the feudal society?8 marks! |
|
Answer» Feudalism, also known as the feudal system, was a combination of the legal, economic, military, and cultural customs that FLOURISHED in Medieval Europe between the 9th and 15th centuries. Broadly defined, it was a WAY of structuring society around relationships that were derived from the holding of land in exchange for service or labor. Although it is derived from the Latin word feodum or feudum (fief),[1] which was used during the Medieval period, the term feudalism and the system which it DESCRIBES were not conceived of as a formal political system by the people who lived during the Middle Ages.[2] The classic definition, by François-Louis Ganshof (1944),[3] describes a set of reciprocal legal and military obligations which existed among the warrior nobility and revolved around the three KEY concepts of lords, VASSALS and fiefs. |

The issue of Junagarh was resolved after a(1 PointIntermittent fightingPlebisciteCommunal violenceForceful Annexation |
|
Answer» Answer: Junagadh was a princely state of British India, located in what is now Gujarat, outside but under the suzerainty of British India. In the independence and partition of British India of 1947, the 552 princely states were given a choice to either join the NEW Dominion of India or the newly formed state of Pakistan. The Nawab of Junagadh, Muhammad Mahabat Khanji III, a Muslim whose ancestors had ruled Junagadh and small principalities for some two hundred years, decided that Junagadh should become part of Pakistan, much to the displeasure of many of the people of the state, an overwhelming majority of whom were Hindus, about 80%. The Nawab acceded to the Dominion of Pakistan on 15 August 1947, against the advice of LORD Mountbatten, arguing that Junagadh joined Pakistan by sea.[citation needed] The principality of Babariawad and Sheikh of Mangrol reacted by claiming independence from Junagadh and accession to India,[1] although the Sheikh of Mangrol withdrew his accession to India the very next day.[2] Muhammad Ali Jinnah waited for a month to accept the Instrument of Accession, to see if Nehru would make the argument that a Hindu majority under a Muslim ruler, than he would respond with Kashmir's case being the same. When Pakistan accepted the Nawab's Instrument of Accession on 16 September, the Government of India was outraged that Muhammad Ali Jinnah could accept the accession of Junagadh despite his argument that Hindus and Muslims could not live as one nation. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel believed that if Junagadh was permitted to go to Pakistan, it would exacerbate the communal tension already simmering in Gujarat. The princely state was surrounded on all of its land borders by India, with an outlet onto the Arabian Sea. The unsettled conditions in Junagadh had led to a cessation of all trade with India and the food position became precarious. With the region in crisis, the Nawab, fearing for his life, felt forced to flee to Karachi with his family and his followers, and there he established a provisional government. Vallabhbhai Patel offered Pakistan time to reverse its acceptance of the accession and to hold a plebiscite in Junagadh. Meanwhile, tensions were simmering in the regional areas and in major cities such as Bombay against Nawab's DECISION. 25,000 - 30,000 people belonging to Saurashtra and Junagadh GATHERED in Bombay, proclaiming to "liberate" Junagadh from the Nawab's regime. Samaldas Gandhi formed a government-in-exile, the Aarzi Hukumat (in Urdu: Aarzi: Temporary, Hukumat: Government) of the people of Junagadh. Eventually, Patel ordered the FORCIBLE annexation of Junagadh's three principalities. Junagadh's state government, facing financial collapse and lacking forces with which to resist Indian force, invited the Government of India to take control. A plebiscite was conducted in December, in which approximately 99.95% of the people chose India over Pakistan.[3] Scholars have observed that India annexed Junagadh through force[4][5][6][7] with scholars viewing the annexation as part of a wider programme by the Indian state of forcing or bullying the rulers of princely states to accede |
