28.

Explain how resistance is caused with diagram plzz answer fast.

Answer»

tron traveling through the wires and loads of the external circuit encounters resistance. Resistance is the hindrance to the FLOW of charge. For an ELECTRON, the journey from terminal to terminal is not a direct route. Rather, it is a zigzag path that results from countless collisions with fixed atoms WITHIN the conducting material. The electrons encounter resistance - a hindrance to their MOVEMENT. While the electric potential difference established between the two terminals encourages the movement of charge, it is resistance that discourages it. The rate at which charge flows from terminal to terminal is the result of the combined effect of these two quantities.please mark me as the brainliest...hope it HELPS thanks for asking

Briefly explain any activity to plot the magnetic field around straight current carrying conductor sketch the field pattern for the same specify current and field Direction What happened to the field a)if the straight conductor of current carrying is decrease b)if direction of current is reversed

Answer»

The pattern of magnetic FIELD LINES around a straight conductor carrying current can be described by the following ACTIVITY. Insert vertically a long straight wire carrying an electric current so that it passes through the centre of a horizontal piece of plastic board as shown in figure. Take care that the plastic board is FIXED and does not move up and down. Now, sprinkle some iron filings onto the plastic board to show the shape of the field. You will notice that the iron filings get arranged round the wires in the shape of circles. This is due to the reason that the magnetic field lines around the current carrying straight conductor are circular. The iron filings align along these field lines. On reversing the direction of flow of current, we observe that the iron filings ARRANGE themselves in circles around the wire showing that the magnetic field lines are still circular in nature. The direction of the magnetic field can be obtained by using a compass. If the current direction is reversed, the direction of the magnetic field is also reversed. When current through the wire is decreased, field also gets reduced. When the current is reversed, field also gets reversed in direction.

48.

Yes, large scale cutting down of forests can affect the rainfall in the area. Trees absorb water through their roots and release water vapours in the air through transpiration. These water vapours then condense to form clouds. When water droplets (in form of clouds) become big, they fall as rain. When rain falls on the ground, the roots of the trees help water to seep down in the ground. Thus, by cutting down the forests, the entire process of water cycle would get affected, which in turn would result in the reduction of rainfall.
