Why chlorophyll a is absent in the photosynthetic bacteria

Answer»

In this article we will discuss about the PRESENCE of pigments in photosynthetic bacteria.

Because of the presence of carotenoids in all photosynthetic tissues their role is anticipated in photosynthesis. The tissue/cells rich in carotenoids devoid of chlorophyll do not PHOTOSYNTHESIZE. Light energy absorbed by carotenoids appears to be transferred to chlorophyll a or bacteriochlorophyll a and UTILIZED in the photosynthesis.

It was observed if light is absorbed directly by chlorophyll a, generally FOUND to be less efficient in photosynthesis than that of light absorbed by accessory pigments such as phycocyanin or phycoerythrin.

What is the difference between the pancreas and the liver

Answer» \huge\bf\red{Answer\: is}

The liver is the largest gland or chemical factory in the body. It is like a sponge SHAPED like a wedge. It has many metabolic and secretory functions. It produces a digestive fluid called bile, which is important in faciliating fat digestion and absorption.

The pancreas is a gland which releases digestive enzymes and HORMONES. It has functions both in the digestive system and the endocrine system.
PANCREATIC tissue is made up of grapelike CLUSTERS of cells that synthesize a clear liquid called pancreatic juice, which reaches the duodenum through the common bile duct which is also used by the liver to secrete bile.

here is ur answer⭐️⭐️
The general view of physicists is that time started at a specific POINT about 13.8 BILLION years ago with the Big Bang, when the entire universe SUDDENLY expanded out of an infinitely hot, infinitely dense singularity, a point where the laws of physics as we understand them SIMPLY break down.

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Which is odd one out on the basis of unit :-Density, Relative density, pressure, volume ( Plzz answer with reason)

Answer»

Pressure simply is, how much force you out over an area.

Let US understand the relation between pressure, height and density first.

Lets say we have 6 equal weights ad each each weighs of 5 kg. So in total we have 30 kg weight.

If i stack these weights ONE over the other, the total weight of 30 kg will be acting on the base of the LOWER weight perpendicularly.

The height of the base from the ground is ZERO but the pressure here throughout the area is maximum. This is because the total weight that should be counted from top surface of topmost weight, acts at bottom surface of bottom most weight.

Hence measuring the height from the top surface of weight at the top, the height of the stack is not zero but equal to six times the height of each weight

Thus it suggests pressure is directly proportional to height.

Also considering the pressure at a point somewhere midway between of the whole stack, is exactly half as height is half.

This is because the weight is half at that point. Also the volume occupied by the weight is half COMPARED tot the total volume of the stacked weight.

This means the density at this point from the top is half.

This suggests pressure is also directly proportional to pressure.

Thus we can say PP∝ ρ\h∝ ρ\h

As this stack isnt moving anywhere. Hence the net force acting on it is zero. But as the gravity is still acting in it, and weight is product of mass and acceleration due to gravity hence the pressure is also equal to thr aceleration due to gravity

Thus we have final relation between pressure, density, height and acceleration due to gravity as P=ρ g hP=ρ g h

Now talking about the temperature. As increasing the temperature of any medium, the volume expands but the mass remains the same. That means density is inversly proportional to the temperature.

But we can not imply a direct relation between pressure and temperature on our deductions.

Considering gas law at constant volume, and number of moles pressure os directly proportional to temperature.

How do our muscles move class 10 bio Pls answer in detail

Answer»

The nerve fibres at the END of a neuron are attached to muscles. This area is CALLED neuro-muscular junction. When nerve IMPULSES are conducted to this area, the special proteins present in the muscle cells change their SHAPE and arrangement in the cell in RESPONSE to nervous electrical impulses. New arrangement of these proteins give the muscle cells a shorter form thus bringing about movement of muscles.

merits of wave energy

it' is a free renewable and pollution free source of energy.

wave power projects do not REQUIRE large and areas.

after extracting energy from the waves , the sea water is left in a realativly calm
state.

wave power projects do not require a SPECIFIC site ( as in the case of tidal power projects) as same energy exists on almost any coastline.

20 points give solution of question 9 No spam

Answer» MENDEL performed an experiments in which he TOOK a tall plant with round SEEDS and a short plant with wrinkled-seeds. In F1, They were all tall and had round seeds. TALLNESS and round seeds were thus dominant traits. When, he used these F1 progeny to generate F2 progeny by self-pollination, he found that some F2 progeny were tall plants with round seeds, and some were short plants with wrinkled seeds. At the same time there tall plants, but had wrinkled seeds, while others were short, but had round seeds. Thus, Mendel’s experiments show that the tall/short trait and the round seed/wrinkled seed trait are independently INHERITED.

Answer»

Traffic is the main SOURCE of noise pollution in cities.

A Qantas AIRWAYS Boeing 747-400 passes close to houses shortly before landing at London Heathrow Airport.

Noise pollution, also known as environmental noise or sound pollution, is the propagation of noise with harmful impact on the activity of human or animal life. The source of outdoor noise worldwide is mainly caused by MACHINES, transport and transportation systems.[1][2] Poor urban planning may give rise to noise pollution, side-by-side industrial and residential buildings can result in noise pollution in the residential areas. Some of the main sources of noise in residential areas include loud music, transportation noise, LAWN care maintenance, nearby construction, or young PEOPLE yelling (sports games). Noise pollution associated with household electricity generators is an emerging environmental degradation in many developing nations. The average noise level of 97.60 dB obtained exceeded the WHO value of 50 dB allowed for residential areas.[3] Research suggests that noise pollution is the highest in low-income and racial minority neighborhoods.[4] Documented problems associated with urban environment noise go back as far as ancient Rome.
