Essay of The wisdom of head and the wisdom of heart in 600 words in kannada

Answer»

There is Wisdom of Head, and a Wisdom of the Heart

Wisdom is the highest level of intellectual maturity or intelligence that man’s mind can reach. Wisdom in all cultures has been described as the ultimate goal for human beings. Scriptures of the world talk of wisdom and how it can be achieved. Acquisition of wisdom is not an easy task. Wisdom of the head as well as wisdom of the heart are most sought after rarities in the world. Both types of wisdom can be likened to divine maturity that is gained after lots of experience. The wisdom of the head can be likened to super intelligence, whereas the wisdom of the heart can be likened to super emotional intelligence guided by intuition. We cannot SAY which wisdom is better? Wisdom is ultimate possession; either of the two types is SUFFICIENT to make the possessor contented and successful.

When God asked Solomon what blessings He should shower on him, Solomon supplicated, “Give me wisdom and knowledge.” He is considered the wisest of kings of all times. If the wisest king asked wisdom from God, there must be something unique about wisdom. Wisdom is the magic lamp of Aladdin. If you have it, you have everything. Wisdom actually is the ability to stay positive even in the most NEGATIVE situations. If you have wisdom, you can achieve anything in life.

Success is a highly elusive thing! But those with right efforts, right thoughts, and right action catch the ever elusive snitch-like( Harry Potter's Quidditch winning ball) golden ball of success. So one must not aim for success, rather one must aim for acquiring the right thoughts. Once thoughts are right, action and efforts automatically ALIGN themselves accordingly. This is not a simple process! One really has to work very hard to get the grail of wisdom. One must read a lot of books full of wisdom. There is no dearth of such books. Actually beginning to read books is the beginning of wisdom. Books actually are nothing but the recorded thoughts and experience of great wise men. So when we read a book, we actually read the thoughts and ARDUOUSLY collected life experiences. Once the thoughts become wise through reading, introspection, pondering, and reflection, one's actions become wiser; and success for a truly wise man is a cinch.

Confucius, a great Chinese philosopher and teacher wisely said “By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.”

Write the second phase of civil disobedience movement

Answer»

When Gandhi was in England to attend the round table conference, the political situation in India got even worse. There was a general disturbance in Bengal, United Provinces and Punjab.

The VICEROY had issued an array of ordinances, which GAVE the authorities unlimited powers. This is called by many scholars as “Civil Martial Law“. There were no civil liberties. The authorities could detain people and seize their property at will.

In a proposed launch of no-rent campaign by the Congress, JAWAHAR Lal Nehru had been arrested. In NWF province, Khan Abdul Gaffer Khan had also been arrested along with his comrades – The Red Shirts.

Gandhi arrived from London on 28 December 1931 and on that day, Congress Working Committee decided to resume the Civil Disobedience Movement. Within a week, on 4 January 1932, Gandhi was arrested. In the first 4 months, around 80 thousand people were jailed. Lakhs of people jumped into the protests all over India. They just did two main THINGS i.e. picket the shops that sold liquor and foreign cloth and carried out processions.

The Congress and other political parties were DECLARED an illegal organization. The offices and funds of these parties were seized. All the Ashrams of Gandhi were occupied by the Police.

But the movement could not build the tempo and was crushed within a few months. Officially, the Civil Disobedience movement was suspended in May 1933 and it was finally withdrawn in May 1934.

What are reserved constituencies? Explain the concept of reservation of seats

Answer»

Reserved constituencies are those which are reserved to the SC's and ST's or other backward CASTES. To uplift their status members of these sections are given much more importance.

Some of the weaker sections of the society cannot contest elections because of economic and FINANCIAL problems. It is also because the richer and the more influential sections of the society overpower them and don't allow them to contest elections; and even if they do, the weaker sections are never able to WIN. So, the makers of our Constitution THOUGHT of upgrading of the society andthought that all the sections of our society must get a chance to contest and win elections to govern the country due to our democratic nature. So some of theconstituencies are reserved for the SC (Scheduled Castes) and the ST (ScheduledTribes) where only the weaker sections can participate and contest elections.

Secondly, it creates its fans and television fans keep sticking to their sets for long hours. Children tend to ignore their studies and insist on watching every programme. They form the habit of sleeping late and getting up late. With the introduction of the Cable TV and the CDs, the craze for films is increasing day-by-day. In FACT, a demand for banning the VCRs has already come up. We should, therefore, learn to make a right use of the television. Television viewers should select and watch the useful programmes only.
