Short note in world war 2

Answer»

ar II (often abbreviated to WWII or WW2), also known as the Second World War, was a global war that LASTED from 1939 to 1945. The vast majority of the world's countries—including all the great powers—eventually formed two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. A state of total war emerged, directly involving more than 100 million people from more than 30 countries. The MAJOR participants threw their entire economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities behind the war effort, blurring the distinction between civilian and military resources. World War II was the deadliest conflict in human history, marked by 70 to 85 million FATALITIES, most of whom were CIVILIANS in the Soviet Union and China. It included massacres, the genocide of the Holocaust, strategic bombing, premeditated death from starvation and disease, and the only use of nuclear weapons in war.

Why do you think water waves are important for our country

Answer»

The ocean is never still. Whether observing from the beach or a boat, we EXPECT to see waves on the horizon. Waves are created by energy passing through water, causing it to move in a circular motion. However, water does not actually travel in waves. Waves transmit energy, not water, across the ocean and if not obstructed by anything, they have the potential to travel across an entire ocean basin. Explanation:Waves are most commonly CAUSED by wind. Wind-driven waves, or surface waves, are created by the friction between wind and surface water. As wind blows across the surface of the ocean or a lake, the continual disturbance creates a wave crest. These types of waves are found globally across the open ocean and along the coast.   More potentially hazardous waves can be caused by severe WEATHER, like a hurricane. The strong winds and pressure from this type of severe storm causes storm surge, a series of long waves that are created far from shore in deeper water and intensify as they move closer to land. Other hazardous waves can be caused by underwater disturbances that displace large amounts of water quickly such as earthquakes, landslides, or volcanic eruptions. These very long waves are called tsunamis. Storm surge and tsunamis are not the types of waves you imagine crashing down on the shore. These waves roll upon the shore like a massive sea level rise and can reach far distances inland. The gravitational pull of the sun and moon on the earth also causes waves. These waves are tides or, in other words, tidal waves. It is a common misconception that a tidal wave is also a tsunami. The CAUSE of tsunamis are not related to tide information at all but can OCCUR in any tidal state.

Article on Role of technology in students

Answer»

Even with the passage of time, technology is progressing as well. There is nothing to deny the fact that technology has made the lives of common people a lot more comfortable than what it was earlier. Its plus points are now evident in the domain of education as well. Let’s see how technology has changed the life of the students: Access knowledge at any time and placeThe first benefit of technology for students is that they are able to access knowledge at any time and place of their choice. These days, technology has progressed to such a level that no longer is learning confined only to the walls of the classrooms. Gone are the days when the students in schools and colleges had to wait for classes so that they could clear their doubts. This was applicable for all topics out there. They can now use technology in order to clear those doubts. They are able to do it at any place that they choose to and at any time that they are comfortable with.Technology has also brought forth the concept of distance education, which means that students can take part in classes in a virtual manner as well. Getting detailed knowledgeJust think of a classroom, which does not use any technology at all. In those classrooms, the TEACHERS are unable to say anything more than what they themselves know. This means that the students WOULD never get to know more than what their teachers know especially if they limit themselves to what they are learning from the classrooms. Things have now changed and much of the credit, in this CASE, needs to be given to technology. Students these days have access to the internet. In case they do not like what their teachers are teaching or if they are just curious to know about things they can always look up the internet. Participating in an active mannerTechnology has now made it possible for students to take part more actively in their educational process. No longer do they only follow what is written in the book – they are a lot more interested in finding answers to VARIOUS questions by themselves. They have the necessary leeway to do so because of technology. This leads to active participation and that, in turn, has made them a lot more interested in their studies. Greater productivityTechnology has made students a lot more productive than what they were. As has been said already, as a result of using technology education is now no longer bound by geographical boundaries or any particular time. Students now have the tools to keep learning on their own thanks to the advent of technology. This is how the students have been made a lot more productive by the studentsGreater motivationTechnology has made it possible for students to get hold of and watch videos and movies on subjects that they may be studying about right now. In fact, a number of schools and colleges are known to show motivational videos to their students on a regular basis as well. This helps them to be optimistic regarding any and EVERY work that they are doing. This is expected to help them in their academic careers as well as their professional ones. ConclusionJust like a coin that has two sides technology comes with its ill effects as well. Just as technology has some merits there are some demerits as well. However, in the end, it all depends on the users or rather how they are using the technology. There is nothing to deny however that if used in a positive manner, there are plenty of benefits to be had from using technology. In fact, it can be an absolute boon for them.
