BleachBitI've been using BleachBit on my Ubuntu computer for about a year now. It is a great tool. It's also very powerful and new USERS should be aware that it can be dangerous if used improperly (make sure that you know what you are selecting for deletion). I wouldn't recommend this tool to novice users unless, of course, if the windows version is very different than the Linux version. Is it?Thanks for the warning. Quote from: JJ 3000 on October 23, 2010, 12:51:04 AM It's also very powerful and new users should be aware that it can be dangerous if used improperly (make sure that you know what you are selecting for deletion). I wouldn't recommend this tool to novice users unless, of course, if the windows version is very different than the Linux version. Is it? No. It isn't! Which is why I never listed it to begin with. But I'm seeing more and more people refer it so I figured it was time to add it to the list. |
