an essay on visit to a zoo in 25 December please please

Answer»

Last weekend, my father wanted to take us out somewhere. So we decided to go to the zoo. My mother made some sandwiches and packed some fruits. Father took his camera along, and we all left for the zoo.

Outside, it was warm and sunny. After an hour’s drive, we reached the zoo. The place was crowded. There were vendors selling balloons, caps, eatables and lot of other things.

My father bought three tickets and we all walked into the zoo. Inside we boarded a small train which took us around the park. I was so excited that I kept jumping on my seat.

As the train moved slowly around the park, we saw a lion, a white tiger, hippopotamus, deer, giraffes, mongoose, bison, wolves and hyenas.

After the train ride, we sat in a restaurant and had our lunch. While walking around the zoo, I saw boards which warned us not to feed the animals. I could not understand the reason behind it. When I asked my father about it, he explained that our food might harm the animals. He also told me that the zoo authorities take care of the animals in best possible manner.

After lunch, we left for our home though I wanted to stay back and go for the train ride again.

thanks

6. What were the malpractices that you observe in present day elections?

Answer»

Some of malpractices that occur during the Indian elections:1)Use of black money for rallies, ads and votes. Between 4-15 crores is spent by many candidates in Lok Sabha elections whereas the EC limit is Rs 70 lakhs. Naturally, most money used is black money, undeclared to the EC. Although crores of rupees are found by EC in raids during elections, the EC largely has been rather ineffective against black money.2)Over-expenditure. India spends an amount comparable to American elections whereas India’s GDP is nowhere close to the American GDP.3)Cash for votes. A large chunk of money spent by candidates is used to pay voters for votes in cash or liquor, or to pay the visitors of rallies for their time.4)Misuse of religion or caste. Classic divide and rule. Members of one or more communities are aroused to vote on religious or caste lines.5)Hate speech. A severe form of misuse of religion or caste. Not many people are aware that such hate speech amount to the Violation of the RPA and may result in disqualification of the candidates who make such speeches.6)Getting "apoliticals" to take political stand. Eminent persons not directly associated with politics are called upon to support one party or oppose an adversary.7)False promises. Making promises with no intention or possibility of fulfilling them once in power.8)Paid news. Paid news include news tarnishing the image of an adversary and inordinately positive news about a crony politician. In order to counter this, public debates between candidates should be made compulsory however, not the noisy Aajtak's sytle but on the style of US Presidential debates.9)Fake stings. A rather severe form of paid/biased news.10)Online opinion rigging. Paid keyboard operators run by PR firms are deployed to shape public opinion online.

t. Write an essay on Global Warming.

Answer»

Global warming is the steady and continuous rise in the level of earth temperature. Out earth surface is becoming hotter day by day just because of some unnoticeable habits of human beings all across the world. Global warming has become the most worrying threat for the earth’s atmosphere as it is reducing the life possibilities on the earth day by day through a continuous and steady declining process.

Before planning the solutions of the global warming, we must think about the causes and effects of it on the atmosphere in order to get sure that we are in right direction of getting full relief from this issue. The continuous warming of the earth surface is the increasing emission of CO2 in the environment. However, the increasing level of CO2 is caused due to many reasons like deforestation, use of coal, oil, gas, burning of fossil fuels, burning of gasoline for transportation, unnecessary use of electricity, etc which in turn causes rise in earth temperature. Again it becomes the reason of rising sea level, occurrence of flooding, storms, cyclone, ozone layer damage, changing weather patterns, fear of epidemic diseases, lack of food, death, etc. We cannot blame any single entity for this as each and every human being is responsible for the increasing threat of global warming which can be solved only by the global awareness and kind efforts of everyone.

9. VVUy TSLUI We DUTULISUI Hidhi UUTTUICOQ.10. Name the disease which had terrifying impact on people's livelihoods and localeconomy of Africa during 1890's?

Answer»

Rinderpest a cattle disease arrived in Africa in the late 1880s. It was carried by infected cattle imported from British Asia to feed the Italian soldiers invading Eritrea in East Africa. Entering Africa in the east, rinderpest moved west ‘like forest fire’, reaching Africa’s Atlantic coast in 1892. It reached the Cape (Africa’s southernmost tip) five years later. Along the way rinderpest killed 90 per cent of the cattle. The loss of cattle destroyed African livelihoods. Planters, mine owners and colonial governments now successfully monopolised what scarce cattle resources remained, to strengthen their power and to force Africans into the labour market. In the era of conquests even a disease affecting cattle reshaped the lives and fortunes of thousands of people and their relation with the rest of the world

(a) K(b) E(c) b(c) Do you agree that political candidates for different elections should have no definite qualifications? Justyour answerAns,(h

Answer»

Yes, not prescribing a definite qualification for a political leader or a candidate is justifiable in our country because of the following reasons:

a. For political leaders their biggest test is the Election which determines whether they have been able to work as per the interest of the voters. It is imperative for political leaders to be responsive to people's needs and show concern to their problems or else they will be voted out of power.

b. Poverty ,illiteracy continue to hamper the progress of our country. If we prescribe educational qualification for leaders it would be against the democratic principle for a country where large section of population is illiterate and the very essence of elections which implies giving chance to everybody to contest would be defeated.

c. It should be left to the voters to decide educational qualification if it all we want minimum qualification for our leaders. This would be in a democratic spirit.

d. For leaders, it is more of their ability to understand people's concerns that matters.

During this period many of the party leaders within congress, demanded a system which works more like a presidential one, where there would be directly elected executives in the party. Nav Nirman movement in Gujarat, between December 1973 and March 1974 was one of the first movements which begun the strife in the nation. During this movement the central government was forced to dissolve the state legislature in Gujarat and chief minister Chimanbhai Patel had to resign, which resulted in President s rule over Gujarat.

Apart from these, there were challenges to fight with the effects of drought in the country and consequently there was a rise of internal threats from various parts of the country against the government due to elevation of starvation and debt issues.

5)Unemployment and increasing laboring population generated fume and outrage all over the nation. The government claimed that the regular strikes and protests by the citizens have paralyzed the government and its economy and there was anomaly on streets as well as political opposition prevailing in many part of the country.
