Answer» The difference between aquatic and terrestrial habitats is that the former means that an animal lives in water, while the latter means that an animal lives on land. For example, a bear's natural habitat is terrestrial while a fishes natural habitat is aquatic. Terrestrial Habitat contains only land. Animals that live only on land are called terrestrial animals. Human beings also live on land. Aquatic animals live in water while terrestrial animals live on land. Aquatic animals use 20% of energy to obtain oxygen while terrestrial only use 1-2%. |
