Answer»

Answer:

given:perimeter of RECTANGLE=1m

=100cm

And one side is 5CM LONG than the other.

Let the other side be: X

Then FIRST side will be =x+5

As we KNOW,

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

100cm=2(x+x+5)

100cm=2(2x+5)

100cm=4x+10

4x=100-10

4x=90

therefore x=90/4

=22.5cm

first side =22.5cm. ans.

second side=22.5+5

ANS - 27.5cm.
