Initial angular speed = 0

Final angular speed = 150 rotations per min = 150 × 2π/60 = 5π rad/s

Time taken = 10 s

Now,

Angular acceleration, α = 5π/10 = π/2 rad/s2

We know, τ = Iα

=> τ = 50 × π/2 = 25 × 3.14 = 78.5 Nm
