Answer» FCC lattice has a conventional unit cell which is cubic with lattice point at corners and face centers and by specifying monotonic there is one atom at to each lattice point. There are 8 corners and six face centers one can simply count. The total no. of atoms in a unit cell to be 6+8=14 |
