Maganlal was  an old man. No one really KNEW his age. He was a very wise man and often ADVISED villagers on issues affecting them. One day he decided to spend his life savings to purchase a house. He bought an old villa near the forest. People told him it was haunted he  was as brave as a lion.

For centuries there were tales about ghosts inhabiting the old villa in the forest. The villa had been built a century ago. The villa had been passed down from generation to generation. One day, a young boy aged 12 had committed suicide near the house.

Stories of ghosts started spreading. Some people said that when it was foggy, one could see a boy walking through the WOODS. Several years later, an old lady DIED at the house. The ghost stories spread like bush fire. People said that the house was haunted by ghosts. Nobody wanted to live in the house and it was abandoned for several years.

Maganlal had heard the stories, however he did not believe in ghosts. To his shock, the villa was the residence of ghosts. He could hear doors opening and shutting He could also hear footsteps although no one was in the house except him.He decided that he had had enough with the ghosts.

The ghosts of the villa tried to scare Maganlal. They flickered the lights  and played  tricks on him.Maganlal laughed and enjoyed the fun. He knew that they could not harm him in any way. The defeated ghosts LEFT the villa never to return.
