1.

8. Find the length of the diagonal of a rectangle using Pythagoras theorem, given length - 8cm andbreadth - 6cm.antial form (22) x 31 x 36

Answer»

Answer :-

Given :-

  • Length = 8 CM
  • Breadth = 6 cm

To Find :-

Solution :-

We know that,

→ d = √(l² + b²)

where,

  • d is diagonal
  • l is length
  • b is breadth

Here we are given length and breadth. So, by simply substituting the values in formula, we can find diagonal :-

→ d = √( 8² + 6² )

→ d = √(64 + 36)

→ d = √(100)

→ d = 10

Diagonal of RECTANGLE = 10 cm
