For EXPLANATION I would say: Here, A={1,2,3}, B={2,3,4}, C={2,3,5}, D={1,3,5,7}

A∪B={1,2,3}∪{2,3,4} = {1,2,3,4} and C∪D={2,3,5}∪{1,3,5,7} = {1,2,3,5,7}

(A∪B) ∩ (C∪D) = {1,2,3,4} ∩ {1,2,3,5,7} = {1,2,3} = A.
